Yingchuang technology appears on Milan Expo again with 3D printing

Introduction

Recently, several buildings printed by 3D technology appears in Suzhou, including a villa with an area of 1000 square meters, a 5- story building and a simple sample room. The walls are all printed by large 3D printer. A building can be finished within one day by adopting 3D printing technology.

On site

The whole buildings are all printed by 3D technology except steel structure

A villa with an area of 1000 square meters is all printed except steel structure.

Seeing the wall carefully, you can find that there is brick outside the wall. In order to keep warm, the whole wall has space. The wall is so strong without any cement powder left on your hand when you touching.

Behind the scenes

The 3D printer prints the components of house first and then to combine together

The printer has 6.6m high, 10m wide and 32m long. The base covers an area of a basketball court with a height of three stories. The material to be printed should be 1.2m tall but there is no limited to the length. A wall is finished according to the design drawings controlled by computer. 10 buildings with an area of 200 square meters can be built within 24 hours.

The "inks" used to print the buildings are mainly construction waste, industrial waste and mine tailings, and the other materials are mainly cement and steel, as well as special auxiliaries.

These buildings of  the internal steel structure is built up first, and then the 3D printer prints out the building components and then assembles them. A 1000 square meters villa with 2 stories can be finished within 3 days, one day to print and two day to assemble. It is totally enough by 3 workers.

Merchant

Compared with traditional construction, 3D printing ensures the strong wall and good insulation performance at lower cost.

The biggest benefit of 3D printing architecture is energy saving and environmental protection. Because 3D printing buildings don't produce any dust or construction waste. Using 3D printing technology, the construction materials can be reduced by 30% to 60%, and the working period is reduced by 50% to 70%. Construction cost can save at least 50%. And customers can customize home and house styles.

Because the wall is made up of cement, a small amount of steel and some construction waste, many people doubt the strength of the wall. For this reason, the material supplier says that because of the special additives in the printed material, the strength of the 3D printed wall is five times that of the ordinary wall. In addition, the hollow space in the middle can be filled with various thermal insulation materials, so the building insulation effect of 3D printing will be particularly good.

The 11,100 square meters of 3D printed villa model house displayed on site has been booked for 10 sets.

The following cases will show you the application of 3D printing!

3D printing photo studio: It takes only 10 minutes of 3D scanning, and a few hours of waiting to get physical portraits. 3D printing technology can be used to print the doll souvenir.

3D printing gun: In the past few days, the world's first CAD production of a 3D printed handgun has been downloaded more than 100,000 times on the Internet, causing panic. People are panicking because, in this sense, a 3D printer can make a gun, and how can it be secured?

Semi-processed 3D printed violin: The world's first 3D printed violin was born abroad. But it's actually a semi-finished product. When Alex Davis, the violinist, made the main part of the cello in 3D, he and his team completed the second half of the production with newspaper and glue plastic.

Print stem cell: Stem cells, also known as the origin cells, are a class of pluripotent cells with self-replicating abilities that can be differentiated into many functional cells under certain conditions. It is an immature cell, which has the potential function of tissue organs and human body.

Replace the bone: In fact, there are many reports that have been discussed that the application of 3D printing technology to medical services is the biggest benefit for humans. The idea of printing human organs has also been practiced. Although the printed organ is still a dream, it has been successfully implemented some examples such as skull replacement, and nearly 75% of the perfect reducibility makes 3D printing worth of the wait in the future.
